Each year in May, the Museum of Art Contemporaneo of Bogotá (MAC) and the Museum of American Erotica (MaEc) organize the “Tide” Art and Erotica Festival. Recognized artists from around the world whose work investigates the topic of eroticism are selected to show their work. This event is also a forum for guests from political, religious, artistic and scientific sectors to exchange concepts on art, eroticism, pornography, sexual education and sexual health. A virtual book is be published on eroticism and art that shows the different approaches to eroticism within the plastic and visual arts.
