Each year during May, the Museum of Art Contempóraneo of Bogotá (MAC) and the Museum of American Erotica (MaEc), organize “Tide”, Art and Erotica Festival. Recognized artists from around the world whose work investigates the topic of eroticism are selected to show their work. This event is also a forum for guests from political, religious, artistic and scientific sectors to exchange concepts on art, eroticism, pornography, sexual education and sexual health. A virtual book is be published on eroticism and art that shows the different approaches to eroticism within the plastic and visual arts.

Sandra Hawkins is an interdisciplinary visual and media artist living in Ottawa. Her videos are shown at juried events around the world:
