This work was created and exhibited in memory of the tragic loss of human life resulting from terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre, New York City, U.S.A., September 11, 2001.
Upon entering the gallery, the visitor looks upward, as they would in New York City, to see photos installed at ceiling level, each encased in a plastic bag and hung in portrait format from a rusty nail. Each black-and-white photo is of New York City monumental architecture that houses the business of art, e.g., museums and galleries.
